What is an Angel?

Angels are ministering spirits sent by God to help us. Angels are different than human beings in that they are spiritual beings but human have both souls and physical bodies. Every Christian has a guardian angel but that does not mean that you don’t need to pray anymore. Children also have angels minister around them. You still have to pray for God’s protection over all aspects of your lives every day.

Satan is also an angel, created by God from the beginning. However, Satan rebelled and wanted to be God so he and his followers were cast out of heaven to hell. Hell is a place God created for the devil and his followers. To be fair, God let Satan fight against him. Anyone who does not obey God’s commandments will go to hell and receive eternal punishment in the lake of fire.

Satan and the demons can disguise themselves as angels of light. You can recognize an evil spirit if it doesn’t confirm with God’s words in the bible. The devil and demons know the bible too but they will twist them in a way to lead you astray from God. This is why it is important to have understanding of God’s words so that you don’t walk astray from God’s commandments.
