Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 Bible Study

Ecclesiastes 3:1 states that there is a time for every thing that takes place under heaven. God is always in charge of all the events that happen on earth and in the universe. He makes everything happen in their natural ways because this is his nature. God knows the future of everyone. There is a time for different events that take place in our lives including opportunities, sad times, happy times, problems and etc. There is a time for a person to be born into the world and a time for that person to die.

There is a time for a person to be converted and get saved. A person usually don’t get saved when someone preach the gospel to him or her for the first time. It takes many people to talk about the gospel to that person and when it is time, he will be ready to accept Jesus into his heart. Not everyone will enter into the kingdom of God. This is why many are called but only the chosen ones will get saved and inherit eternal life.

Sometimes, God will put you in different situations so that you can do his will. For example, you may coincidentally meet a person whom God wants you to help in some way. You must take the initiative for every opportunity that come to you instead of being lazy and not taking any action.

To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 KJV)

I said in mine heart, God shall judge the righteous and the wicked: for there is a time there for every purpose and for every work. (Ecclesiastes 3:17 KJV)

Because to every purpose there is time and judgment, therefore the misery of man is great upon him. (Ecclesiastes 8:6 KJV)
