Can a Christian Practice Zen?

Zen is a school of Mahayana Buddhism that originated from China. Christians cannot combine the teachings of Zen Buddhism into Christianity. Even if there is any teaching in Zen Buddhism that is parellel to Christianity, you must never compromise by practicing both religions. You should not practice Zen meditation. Zen meditation is not to be used as a way of deepening your faith in Jesus Christ. If you need faith in God, you must spend a lot of time in prayer, not going after the practices of another religions. Christians should reference the bible, as their only guide in living as a Christian, not other religious books such as Zen, Quran and etc even though there may be some similarities between them. Practicing Zen and Christianity is rebellious and against God’s commandments.
