How to Rejoice in the Lord?

It is important to rejoice in the Lord at all times no matter what situation you are facing. This shows that you trust and did not doubt in God. If you are depressed, the devil will be glorified and happy because he knows you are not trusting in God enough. Sorrow is the source of many illnesses so you should always stay cheerful. This will give others a good testimony that you are a real disciple of Jesus Christ.  You must always look forward and make progress instead of stopping and becoming stagnant after facing an unhappy event.

But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ’s sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy. (1 Peter 4:13 KJV)
