You must always have faith in God no matter what situation you face. If you trust in God, God will answer your prayer and give you what you ask for. People who are lack in faith will often grumble, complain and murmur. You should avoid grumbling, complaining and murmur as these are all signs that you doubt in God. In order to receive what you pray, you must believe that God exists and that he will reward what you are asking for in prayer. Faith has works. This means that you must demonstrate your faith by being a good disciple and doing God’s commandment, not just only believing that God raised Jesus from the dead on the third day. You must die to your old self and live a new life in Christ.

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17 KJV)

But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. (Hebrews 11:6 KJV)
