How Did Adam and Eve Sin If They Were Perfect?

the-fall-of-adam-and-eve

When God created Adam and Eve, the first male and female, he gave them a free will. They can decide what they want to do. It is up to them whether they want to listen to God or Satan. Satan deceived Eve by revealing to her that eating from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil won’t kill her but open up her eyes so that she can differentiate between right and wrong. The fruit seem appetizing to Eve and she took a bite.

After she took a bite, she gave it to Adam who also ate it. You can read about the fall of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3 in the bible. Satan can use various ways to deceive us, not just telling lies. He can also use God’s words to deceive those who do not understand and misinterpret them. Everyone can sin as no one is perfect. God does not force us to keep his commandments although we are required to do God’s commandments in order to enter into the kingdom of God in heaven.  You can receive God’s forgiveness for your sins by confessing and asking him to forgive you. God is always willing to forgive as long as you sincerely confess and repent from your sins.
