Can a Christian Own a Liquor Store?

Liquor_store

Christians should not own a liquor store. Although it is stated in the bible that you can drink alcohol to cure your illness, the bible speaks against drunkenness. Anyone can walk into a liquor store to buy liquor. The person who walk into the liquor store is probably an alcoholic. Selling liquor to him means that you are helping him to get drunk. It means that you don’t care about others getting drunk, just as long as you can make money in the liquor business. Christians must love one another and always take into considerations of others in everything they do. Loving others as much as you love yourself is the second most important commandment in the bible.

Thine eyes shall behold strange women, and thine heart shall utter perverse things. Yea, thou shalt be as he that lieth down in the midst of the sea, or as he that lieth upon the top of a mast. They have stricken me, shalt thou say, and I was not sick; they have beaten me, and I felt it not: when shall I awake? I will seek it yet again. (Proverbs 23:29-35 KJV)
