Christians should not enter a Hindu temple because the bible tell us to keep ourselves away from idolatry. You should not enter a Hindu temple even if your excuse is that you are visiting the Hindu temple or other reasons. When you enter the Hindu temple, you open a doorway for the devil to attack you. This means you cannot take photos of Hindu temple, keep any Hindu idols as memoir from your visit, wear clothes that contain Hindu idolatry symbol, eat food offered to Hindu idols or offered for free at the Hindu temple and etc.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
