Bible Study on Power of the Tongue

taming_the_tongue

What you speak with your mouth is powerful and can have impact on others. You must be careful with the words you use. You should only say things that edify others and build them up. Scolding people bad words or insulting words are sins. Parents should not use bad words to rebuke their children. Your children will become what you say they are so you must always encourage them with good words instead of scolding them with words that insult them. After praying, you must always say positive things. Saying negative things means you do not trust in God. It is impossible to please God without faith. If you want your prayer answered, you must believe that he exists and rewards what you are seeking for.
